Defending World Champion Bareback Bronc Rider, Tim O’Connell of Iowa is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. A successful wrestling background has built a foundation for his career performance in possibly the most physically demanding event in professional sports. Tim is a great interview as he shares some of the reasons he is going into the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo #1 in his event in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
The 42nd annual Indian National Finals Rodeo concluded Saturday night November 11, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A full house enjoyed the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in each event at the South Point Equestrian Center. Today we have the results of the championship round along with the congratulations to the Indian World Champion cowboys and cowgirls in all of their respective events.
The Indian National Finals Rodeo program is special because of the fact that it Is a family affair. The INFR Junior and Senior events are in full swing with the standard events at the Southpoint Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Today we have results at the halfway mark of round number three in the standard events and the first go-round of the junior and senior events. The INFR‘s favorite cowboy, Twister Fischer pictured, showing his patriotism for United States of America, during the national anthem.
Nine year old Colville Indian cowgirl, Rocksie Marchand of Washington has won the first and second rounds in the senior division of the ladies barrel racing competition at the 41st annual Indian National Finals Rodeo. The event held November 7 through the 11th at the South Point hotel and casino equestrian event center in Las Vegas celebrating 41 years. Cody Jesus leads the way defending his INFR world championship in bull riding with a whopping 87 point ride in the first performance of the Indian National Finals Rodeo at the South Point Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the 41st celebration of the INFR and we have results in a bit of the history of this great event with American Indians and the First Nations of Canada battling it out for the 2017 titles in each of the respective rodeo events.This report is the 1st of 5 days covering the action from Las Vegas.
