WWC Wylie Peterson 08.26.19


Shoshone-Bannock Indian cowboy Wylie Peterson is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. Wylie had an illustrious 12-year career in the Professional Bull Riders, qualifying for the PBR world finals 10 times. His phenomenal highlights include finishing third in the world in 2003 and winning the aggregate against the best 35 riders and the toughest bulls in 2007, in the city of lights of Las Vegas. We are very pleased to share this first of a three-part series of such a talented, well-grounded and world-famous American Indian cowboy.

Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association bull rider, Peyton Fitzpatrick of Montana is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. Payton is number nine in the 2019 Resistol Rookie Of The Year standings and number one in the bull riding standings for the Montana Pro Circuit, at 24 years of age. It is interesting to listen to an ambitious young man that has strategically pursued his career with the help and guidance of his father.

Gerald Eash, a bull rider in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. We discuss Geralds career as a professional athlete. We also visit about his responsibility as a father and a husband putting God first, family second, and rodeo third. It is a big decision for a man to retire from a sport he loves, this season that decision has been made. We congratulate this stand up classy individual on his priorities and wish him success.

The Woman’s Professional Rodeo Association is the oldest women’s sporting organization in the world. It is a huge organization with several facets, to be amongst the top 15 in the world is amazing. Jessica Routier did just that qualifying for her first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2018. What is even more amazing is that she is 35 year old NFR rookie and mother of five. We really enjoyed our visit with this exceptional individual from South Dakota, U.S.A.
