Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, Open Wheel Nationals Champion, dirt track sprint car racing driver, is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. Brock saw the checkered flag before a very competitive, invited field of 32 from all across the United States. This 410 ci, winged car event, was a win in front of no fans present at the Park Jefferson Speedway in North Sioux City, South Dakota, except a large audience on pay-per-view SpeedshiftTV. Strict guidelines of social distancing and face masks were enforced amid the 2020 pandemic at one of the few, big-time sports events of the day. God bless America.
My son Branson Taylor, Cherokee/Choctaw football player at Dakota State University, is our guest, in the second of a two part series on Word With A Champ. We are very proud of our son and his perseverance athletically and academically throughout his college career. He has overcome two major orthopedic injuries. Branson is presently the second fastest man on the team, on target in the weight room and is ready to play. His persistence has astounded me. We pray he will have the opportunity to shine on the field, and finish strong academically, amid this pandemic of 2020.
